Robert Coles

Lead HubSpot Solutions Architect, HubSpot Helper

Robert Coles has been working inside HubSpot since the earliest days of the platform — long before most businesses fully understood what a CRM could do. With more than 16 years of hands-on experience, he has worked in over 250 HubSpot portals, completed more than 400 detailed audits, and designed solutions ranging from clean onboarding builds to highly complex data architecture, automation systems, and multi-platform integrations.

Throughout his career, Robert has seen a consistent pattern: businesses invest in HubSpot with high expectations, but without the right structure and strategy, the system becomes overwhelming, disorganized, and underused. His specialty is transforming chaotic portals into streamlined, reliable systems that sales and marketing teams actually trust and enjoy using. From lifecycle stage design and custom data schemas to advanced workflow automation and reporting that drives real decisions, Robert builds HubSpot portals that work the way businesses need them to.

Robert is also the author of the HubSpot Rapid Delivery Blueprint and the HubSpot 28 Day Onboarding Challenge, practical frameworks designed to help teams implement HubSpot correctly and efficiently. In 2026, he is expanding this series with two additional books: The 28 Day HubSpot Automation Challenge and The 28 Day HubSpot Optimization Challenge, further cementing his role as a thought leader in practical, real-world HubSpot implementation.

He has built HubSpot systems from the ground up, repaired years of misconfiguration, implemented advanced automation, created custom properties and data structures, integrated complex third-party systems, and helped organizations fully align their sales, marketing, and service teams inside a single platform. There is very little inside HubSpot he hasn’t encountered, solved, or improved.

Robert holds every available HubSpot certification, demonstrating both deep technical knowledge and an ongoing commitment to mastering the platform as it evolves.
